Food Science Lab

E Heluhelu Kākou: ʻUmeke Kāʻeo Fill your head with knowledge and your tummy with food! A delicious spin on our science labs. These science programs will feature food science. The programs will begin at 10am and may last up to two hours. We welcome ages 5+ for these programs. Young children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. All materials are generously provided by Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.) All attendees to programs and events during the Summer Reading Challenge at Kealakekua Library will receive a raffle ticket for a special branch prize to be drawn at the end of July! Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
